We find employers like the ability to offer voluntary benefits to their employees but are frustrated with the administration side of paying their invoices. Piedmont gives us the opportunity to solve that problem with a method called split direct deposit. The voluntary benefit deduction comes out of the employee’s paycheck as direct deposit to an account set up at Piedmont Pays, which allows them to use these funds to pay the employer’s bill.
